A new addition to my products, pet name tags.  Thanks to my wonderful husband, my laser is here and we are making progress daily.  First off the line, Pet ID Tags.  Available in my Etsy shop, these cute tags can be engraved with your favorite pet’s name.  I can add them to any ornament or leash holder to add a personalized touch.

With the holidays over, I finally have a bit of time to do some new works of art, one of a kind pieces I really enjoy.  This custom piece is my first one this year.  I was fortunate to work with a lovely client willing to wait for me to catch my breath and let the holidays pass.  Here is a key holder with her beautiful pups.

I just love making fun and interesting animals from junk.  In the case of this mule, I used unfinished flooring that was leftover from a friend’s cabin.  That and can lids, vegetable steamer fans, bottle caps , fur and some old leather finished off with some hand painting.  I also have a black and gray one on my Etsy site.  Just follow the links to see what’s new.

Where form meets function.  I’m always looking for where I put Bella’s leash and came up with this idea to hang her leash and extra collar.  They also make a great place for keys or anything else you may need to hang. Each holder has a single key-style hook on the back and vinyl bumpers to protect your wall from marring.  

It’s amazing to me just how much we love our pets.  Last year when I started making ornaments I had 3 dog breeds.  Thanks to the overwhelming demand I now have over 16 different breeds and around 37 variations.  Most of this is from feedback and requests for specific styles.  And guess what, they just keep coming.

I’ve been doing ornaments for a couple of years now, but lately dog breeds are in high demand.  Which brings me to these babies.  Now usually I can come up with a design and though each is still individual they are often close in appearance.  Well that was until today.  “Yorkie’s” have given me a creative brain drain.  After much trial and error, I think I finally have a design I’m happy with.  What do you think?

My new owls are both fun and functional.  Recycled and reclaimed wood comprise this cute owl that both a piece of art and a key holder.  (It can be modified to hold heavier items too.)

Well with the New Year here I’m hoping to add a few new lines to my Etsy shop.  One idea is to have clocks using my animals.  So now you can have a piece of art that is also functional.  Here’s the first example with hopefully many more to come.
