Had I known they would have been so popular I would have started making ornaments over the summer.  Final push is on to complete orders for local galleries.  As always ornaments are also available on Etsy, just follow the link to see what’s available.

Handmade ornaments are a great thought for the holiday’s.  And the really great thing about these is, they don’t have to go away after December.   Follow the link to Etsy to order them now.  Everyone is unique in their own way and made from recycled products.

So, I have these remnants of the flooring they put down in my kitchen after the great flood of 2012.  It’s a good thing too because this giraffe was born from it.  Using the flooring, lids, spoons and trim all I had to add was a little paint and a giraffe was born.

My latest gator is a little toned down and more universal.  Made of old wood, ceiling fan blades, lids and caps he measures almost 22″ in length and ready to hang.

Okay, keeping it clean here.  I just love making mules.  We see a lot of them on the farms around the lake.  I never knew they served as protectors of livestock.  I guess it’s easy to say with our dog Bella, we won’t be getting one real soon.

Here’s my latest crab made from ceiling blade fans, spoons and other discarded and found objects.

I must say, unlike my niece, I really like frogs.  This cutie is a rather large one too.   He measures almost 20″ and I had a blast making him out of discarded materials friends have been supplying me with.
